Apparently Citroen made this lifted C4 Cactus Aventure concept. I wish they actually made it capable offroader but that’s probably just dreaming. It’s kinda weird to see modern Citroen logo on offroad steelies that look like they came straight from Cragar catalog or something

Even if they added 4WD, it would still be pretty light I think...

Honestly though the Cactus could probably be quite a decent small off-roader if Citroen could be bothered to make a 4WD version. I could see this being popular with people who need allweather/multi-terrain capability but want it small and cheap. Oh wait Panda 4x4.

Yeah. A 4WD system would add, what, 80kg? 100 at most (The Quattro adds 75kg on an A4). That would still make it at most less than 1300kg for the heaviest one, so more on the 1100 side we’ll say. About the same as a Lada Niva, or around 100 to 200 more than a Panda 4x4.
